What do you think of straight parents raising gay children??

My parents were straight and they raised me until one passed but I could always count on the other for good advice and a positive influence. Even after I came out. I know there are other parents out there who treat their children with love regardless of orientation, and some who are not so enlightened. That is why I believe we all need each other as a human family and I think that's the right thing to do.

Well far as I know my parents were str8,

but there's some doubt about my old man.

(he used to disappear for days at a time).

Same as blonde parents raising a red-haired

kid, or fair skinned parents raising a dark-

skinned kid.

The fundie crowd write articles claiming

that little boys who either have an abusive

father or no father at all turn out gay, but

I've met lots of gay guys who have great

relationships with their dads.

Oh, we have a monkey in the White House

because the monkey's handlers were smart

enough to get him to lie like h*ll to the

religious crowd. Same with Huckle-buck &

McCain. Same zookeepers, different monkeys.

I think parents, regardless of the situation, should be parents. Guide there kids from right and wrong and just make sure they grow up to be good people, who eventually become good parents. I mean it the parents job to make sure the kids grow up happy. Should anything change 1 or both parties happen to be gay?

You might be suprised about this...but, most gay children are raised by straight parents...and, have been for thousands of years. Parents being gay have NO chance of "causing" their children to be gay. If the children are gay, they would have been gay no matter whether the parents were straight, gay or bisexual.

Gay parents have about as much of a chance making their kids gay as straight parents having making their kids straight.

I've read studies which show children of gay parents are no more likely to be gay than children of straight parents.

gay parents can raise straight children. straight parents can raise gay children. hmmm makes you think about the people who think it's not a born trait, huh?

I really don't comprehend this question. It really does not make much sense to me at all. Regular man and wife have regular sex which brings forth a child. The child grows up to be gay, so what is the question? The parents did not determine the child's sexual preference, the child did, so again, what is the question??? Are you talking about adopted children that are gay and the parents knew the older child was gay when they adopted them, is this what you are talking about, and if not please give more information!!

why do we even ask these questions. no insult but am feed up!

Gays are humans! and there is Gay people who are good and bad! as well as staright people who are bad and good!
