Can you take a mountain bicycle onto a bus in London?
I need to go fetch a mountain bicycle from someone else in London but would not know how to get back home if I were to cycle it? Would they allow me to take it on the bus for a short route and I will cycle the rest?

Only unless it is a fold up one, or otherwise no!! Then again, some bus drivers make up their own rules, thus if you were not to travel during peak periods, and the bus was empty, and you had an understanding bus driver (very rare) then possibly. But in general, no bikes are not allowed on buses. Can't you take the tube?? Or a taxi??

No way, most buses are too small, you couldn't possibly fit it in and the space inside is designated for prams and wheelchairs
