I'm not being baised because I have a Shih Tzu, but I was thinking the same thing about my Border Collie. I didn't know what would be go with her.

I did a ton of research, and Shih Tzu's go great with other dogs. Friendly, and about your Chihuahua's size.

The downside is that there is quite a bit of grooming involved, but that can be fun.

It would be great if you could take your chi with you when you look for the second dog. My only suggestion is that it will be best to get something of similiar size. Although dogs of dif size could be fine sometimes the smaller one is prone to get hurt during spirited play. good luck

some variety of Spaniel, consistent with risk. Cocker or Springer? Or a King Charles or Cavalier King Charles (be certain you be attentive to the version!). or consistent with risk a great mutt from the interior of sight shield. good success.

how about another chihuahua? or if your looking for a larger breed, a retriever might be good. they are gentel, and it can be quite ammusing to see a big dog and a little dog play together.

Well if someone is alergic to dogs in your family, i suggest cocker spaniel and poodle mix, they do not shed and they are very obediant dogs. I have one myself and i get compliments when I bring him places.

  • I would say get a Bichon or Maltese. They are mostly good with other dogs.
