What is holding Space's Vaccume? Do you think it's being maintained?

we can create a vaccume on earth, but we have to suck everything out and keep it sealed. What do you think is doing this for our universe?

The space is not a pure vacuum; it has particles here and there. Earth has an atmosphere because it's massive enough to attract and keep an atmosphere, while others like The Moon's gravity isn't strong enough to hold on to it, so the atmosphere (if it had one) would have escaped.
