Does anyone else get completely annoyed by active listeners??
....I mean, I appreciate the fact that you're paying close attention to what I'm saying and all... but WHY do you have to continuously nod your head?! It's like a nervous twitch or something... and it frustrates me to no end....

There are multiple reasons for continuous head nodding, none of which indicates that they are interested in what you are saying. 1. they are enthralled with themselves and want to appear as the most sympathetic person in the world....2. they suffer from ADD and want to look as if they don't ....3. they have no idea what the hell your talking about but they don't want to appear ignorant ( you move to fast for them and just as youv'e completed your thought they are still stuck on Hello...)
