Adult beagles need potty training HELP PLEASE?

Hi I took in these two 3 yr old female beagles. They have been horrible. With their last owner they left them in crates all the time and outside. So when I made them inside dogs they loved it but, I cant get the potty thing to stick. I have recently purchased a crate. They dont mind it but I hate leaving them in there but I take them out of it take them outside. when I let them in they still potty on the floor. I am at my wits end with them. I cant figure out what to do. I want to let them out of the crate but if i do they potty again on the floor HOW do I stop them from doing this. I love them and dont want to get rid of them. Let me know if ya have any ideas thank you

They should each have their own crate. When you let them out of the crate, immediately take them outside.Go outside w/ them and praise them when they go. Watch them in the house and if they look like they are looking for a spot.. Tell them NO and take them outside.

You need a lot of patience first. You need to read up on potty training for puppies as you are going to have to re-train them. When you go outside and they do their business give them a treat and lots of praise. I would wait until they actually go potty outside. If they go inside, bring them to the area and say no, potty outside and bring them outside again. If one gets it, the other may follow eventually. It's going to be hard but you can do it.

These dogs have been mistreated, and you need to be patient. Take them outside and wait for them to relieve themselves. If they do, reward and praise and make an enormous fuss of them. Eventually, they will learn that relieving themselves outside is the right way to do things.
