Did you know that the Yahoo!Answers Violation Notice Appeals Board is being retired?
Here is the information:
by Yahoo! Answers employee Lou | 20 hours ago
I apologize for not giving all of you a heads-up that the appeals board was being retired. We took it down for a couple of reasons--it was frequently being used to troll, many people posting there just wanted to chat (which we have this board for), and we've been working on making the email appeal process better, including more explanation for why or why not your appeal is accepted.
As always, this board is not for reporting abuse, but you are welcome to ask for clarification on the community guidelines and terms of service here.

The entire Yahoo system from top to bottom is being updated. Many services are being re-evaluated and staff is being reduced in nearly every area of Yahoo.
The Yahoo of the future will keep those services that provide revenue to the company and let go of those that don't.
I believe that as the questions and answers on Yahoo!Answers become less relevant and less enticing to potential revenue sources, Corporate Yahoo will have less and less reason to support the product.

It never was any good for me, so it won't matter to me. The email process isn't any better.

That is interesting.
I do like the email approach better because it is informative.

lovely.
so, not only can they oppress their users through ridiculous standards, easily manipulated rules (for their sake), and outrageous censoring.....
but, now, we don't even have the freedom to appeal it.
ugh.
y/a is pretty pathetic, isn't it?
it's a dictatorship....
whatever they do to the policy, it can't get worse.
