ok well if its the big one idk
but the little ones dont have a fan in the back so they heat up very easily and they wont play games or dvds
maybe you need to check your fan in the back of the ps2. make sure it works.

Did You Check The disc`s Too See If Theyre Dirty If They Are Then That May Be The Problem If Not
Then Theres Something Wrong With The Lens

This happens sometimes. And there is nothing that you can do about it. I had it connected to a different tv and then I had to put it to a another tv and then it worked. :(
