    Great question!

You know, there's several things that I regret not doing but very few that I regret having done. So......I guess that's the best answer I have.

Depends on what you haven't done yet

For example, I really regret getting a DUI

I do not regret turning down my chance to try heroin, because I know how much heroin can be addicting.

It depends. If it only concerns yourself it's better to regret something you did. If the thing you did hurt somebody else you had better not done it.

to regret something you have done, because atleast you know you've tried it and you can learn from your mistakes.

yes. in my point of view, mistakes only make you more mature and self aware and in the end, you do learn from your mistakes.
