How is the Scion tC's 5 speed manual transmission??
I was wondering how are the 5speeds for the tC. I read that it takes awhile to conquer to drive and has clutch dying at 12k miles. any comments would be great! ty

It was a little touchy at 1st and was hard to shift smoothly compared to my other cars (could be just my car since the dealer took it upon themselves to "fix it" when they installed the supercharger and made it much worse and had to unfix it later. Its my 3rd car with a stick so its not me and I did get used to it. Ive got 65k miles and still the original clutch. Mine is supercharged too.
If a clutch goes out at 12k miles its the driver.

You build or modify a RWD car to fit under the Scion tC body. Of course it will cost 10's of thousands of dollars and the only Scion parts left when you are done will be the badges.

I have one and think it's a breeze to drive. I got the TRD short shift kit and that gives it a more accurate feel.
I am at 28k and have had no clutch problems, and mine is supercharged...and I drive the crap out of it.
