Fair skin and red lipstick?

I really like red lipstick but I dont know which shade to choose! I have brownish golden hair, bright blue eyes, and fair PINK skin. What should I choose? I always feel like the red looks weird with my eye color.

There are so many warm reds (yellow based), that you really have to put them on your hand (at makeup counters) to find a cool red to work for you.

I'm also fair with cool undertones. The ones that are my current reds:

    bobbi Brown garnet shimmer

bobbi brown tinted gloss in Cherry.

These are both sheer because I like that effect. For more intensity, look at the regular lipsticks w/ the help of one of the make up representatives. I've always love MAC lipsticks, but don't have any reds from them.

Go for natural red with a hink of pink, or deep red since you have blue eyes with lots of mascara the red will bring out your eyes try not to wear your lipstick with too much gloss it will look unatural, think of nicole kidman.

Take it from Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate and Gwen Stefani, a deep yet bright red. Also use a foundation or a silicone primer/matte (beneFit's matte) is good, just to even out your skin. Go easy on the eyes, just curl and apply mascara, then you're ready to go! Good luck!

  • Red is a beautiful look.

    Dont go too BRIGHT.

I love Cranberry lipstick, Its a Mellow red.

and Its very pretty and classy!

I say you go with that, and Your eyes are beautiful! I love blue eyes! You are so lucky lol

I would go with a underlying brown. But red is always a good striking look.
