The phone will need to be unlocked either by our carrier (AT&T) or by a vendor who specializes in providing unlock codes. Contact AT&T Wireless' BlackBerry support first and see if they will give you the unlock code and instructions (I am on T-Mobile and they provide this for free). If not, you will need to contact a vendor and pay a fee for unlocking. GSMPhoneSource.com is a vendor that does this.

unquestionably i'm a improve cellular broking and that i've got unlocked 2 att telephones to spice up cellular... a motorola razr v3 and a motorola v551... it is rather achieveable however the only element is you will no longer have all the useful properties engaged on the blackberry inclusive of your internet browser, and text textile messages and etc. so i might propose getting opera mini browser and a text textile messaging app and different issues you will could placed THE SIM CARD on your telephone AND save on with the stairs FROM THERE AND IF IT ASKS FOR A CODE call ATT and that they're going to provide you ONE
