Sounds gross but tastes good?

Do you have a suggestion for something that sounds gross but actually tastes good?

Mine is toasted bread with peanut butter, a slice of ripe red tomato and sprinkle with a light coating of black pepper. Trust me, I know it sounds awful, but it's REALLY good, especially if the tomato is garden fresh.

Your ideas?

If one thinks about it that is not so odd.. Peanut is a Legume(Bean). I may try it.

I luv Salty & Sweet things together.. like dipping Potato chips into Strawberry Ice Cream.

OR Fresh Fig Preserves with Soft Goat Cheese on a crisp cracker.

    Slainté (to your health)

I agree: Peanut butter & pickles is yummy!

Asparagus is generally revolting to me, unless you oven roast the fresh ones. (A little olive oil, some kosher salt, 350 for 15 min, and YUMM!)

And sweet potatoes with brown sugar and red pepper, also roasted!

A mango with salt and lemon/lime juice...

A celery rib stuffed with peanut butter and raisins...

Fresh berries with balsamic reduction and a little cracked pepper (this was a desert at a restaurant I went to, it sounded awful but when the waiter served us our table ordered second rounds of it because of how good it was!)

    Island Fruit Jerk (raw vegan)

pineapple chunks, banana slices, coconut shreds, diced onions, diced jalapenos, sea salt, pepper, raw agave nectar, crushed red pepper, half a lime's juice. It's sooo good. It has all the flavors in there, sweet, spicy, salty...

    I like Thanksgiving sandwhiches.

Nice cut turkey on whole wheat with mashed potatos and cranberry sauce. Just like eating thanksgiving all in one meal!!! My friend even does this thing where she takes the potatos, chops up the turkey and and gets from fresh cranberries, mixes all together, heats it and makes a sandwhich.

One the side a big class of chocolate milk.

I even like chocolate milk with plain turkey sandwhiches.
