MALES, would you offer to drive 2 hours to see your ex-girlfriend if you didnt still have feelings for her?
we havent seen each other in 4 years and we finally found each other again and he said...
"Its been a wile , yes i agree. And i guess its hard for both of us to say anything. Well let me say this, i thought about you alot, im not goina lie and say every day because there was way too much **** that happend for me to just think about one person.I do miss you. So your in San Diego huh. Finally moved away from your mommy. Anyways, please keep in touch and dont be skerd about what i just said, there just feelings i had to express, nothing less......."
after i responded he said... "i dont mind driving two hours to see an old friend. just tell me when your free"
notice how he said "old FRIEND". so i cant realy read his hints rite now...does he only want to see me as just a friend and nothing more and has he lost all his feelings for me? or does he still have lingering feelings? (guys answer please cause i dont know how guys think)
awww and yes Johnny B i have seen the notebook =) and i must say that me and my ex boyfriend history is close enough to it...we're opposites yet completely the same at the same time. and we've had a very intense history so...thanks johny B

he wants to ignite the spark and i don't think it's for a one night stand. you don't drive 2 hours just for the slight chance you might get laid for the night(unless you're ugly or disfigured or something). plus, he indicated "whenever you're free". that means that he is interested.
i WOULD drive 2 hours if i liked the girl and wanted a chance to see if there was still something there. that's what he's doing.
the "old friend" signoff is a bit of psychology. it's harder for a girl to say no to an "old friend" than it is for her to say no to an "old boyfriend".

Hi,
4 years without seeing each other is such a long time!! In my own opinion i think that he may have lost feelings 4 u but that doesnt mean he has met anyone else since you so dont think he has cheated!
i think it would be hard for him as much as u and would be very awkward for the both of you. saying that the feelings may come back once you see each other again but you both will have changed in ways more than one.
i think you should both move on, the "old friend" is a BIG hint that he doesnt know wot to do. stay in touch with each other as you may be good friends in the future.
good luck
bye bye

I drove 3.5 hours up the Pacific Coast Highway in California once too meet half way with an old close friend of mine (female), regardless if I was going "to get any" or not.
It's been a couple years and I just cared to see her, catch up with old times and new. I had a great time and I miss her.

Thats a sort of "lets meet up have a nice time, and go back to your place for sex".
I wouldnt drive that far just to "hang out" with an old friend. Maybe he still loves you.. i kinda doubt it but u never know.

Trust me he still likes you. Have you ever seen the notebook? Yeah same story. Whenever you're free call him. And go out with him. While your out, twards the end of the night tell him how you feel and asks if he feels he same way.
The OLD FRIEND thing means nothing. He just doesnt know how you feel. TELL HIM!

what about u...u still have feelings for him..?
if yes, do tell him... there's no better way to find out than asking the person concerned.
as far as ur question goes, yes, guys can drive to meet up someone who's just a friend as well...doesnt mean love necessarily.

Men are very task oriented. If he said that he was driving 2 hours to see you he is demonstrating to you in a very practical way that he is still interested in some way.
Just take it slow and at some point ask him what he wants, do it in a friendly way.

No feelings for her? Probably not. I dont see any benefit of going there. Might just bring back some memories that you tried to forget. Now if she had my DVD's i might have to go there and get them
