ok, here's a question.?

in the past we've been talking about the 911 Turbo vs. the F430 or the Gallardo, what do you people have to say about the new Porsche 911 GT2 vs. the all new Ferrari F430 Scuderia vs. the (useless IMO) Lamborghini Galardo Superleggera.

Update:

well the F430 Scuderia and the 911 GT2 are quite similar in price, I mean the GT2 starts at $198,000 and goes all the way up $215,000 and the Scuderia also starts at about $210,000 and goes all the way upto almost $230,000 and I guess they are rivals to each other.

For a daily driver (or for that matter a car that I would rely on) the Porsche wins, hands down! Sorry Ferrari lovers, but the Italians don't build a very reliable car. Same for the Lamborghini. Parts will be very expensive for all three, but again, Germany wins. If you're looking for a head turner, the Lamborghini wins, but the Ferrari will turn a few. The average person will look at a GT2 and think its a nice Porsche 911. Engine sound goes to Ferrari! Resale value will go to Ferrari also, if you're lucky enough to be able to buy one in the first place. Also, if you own an F430, you're in the club and you will have a chance at purchasing other new Ferraris. If I could keep her in the garage most of the time, I would go for the F430, but if I had to drive her a lot, then the Porsche.

    These are my thoughts.

The Porsche 911 GT2 in my opinion is the best. Its engine is not as powerful as the Ferrari and Lambo, but its engine is placed on the rear. That gives you more traction, and the handling is much tighter, because the center of mass leans towards the rear. The GT2 also has a cool rear spoiler, and the aerodynamics are excellent. That makes it the wildest looking Porsche since the Carrera GT, and the fastest 911 ever. May I also add that the GT2 has a very cool web special on the Porsche website?

In terms of speed the Porsche could spank all of those cars by at least 1/2 of a second and it utilizes only a six cylinder so it really is the highest tuned machine out of all of them. In terms of style the Lamborghini would draw the biggest crowd followed by the Ferrari and then the Porsche.

well Porsche has the best racing history of any auto manufacture including Ferrari. the auto union cars that spanked them in the 30's were designed by Dr. Porsche himself plus just this year the LMP2 Porsche rs spider routinely destroyed the LMP1 Audi R10. now what this translates to is racing experience and id personally bet on the GT2.

Me, personally i would pick the Lamborghini gallardo or the Ferrari because you see porches around a lot and if you see some one driving a Lamborghini or a Ferrari they show out a lot.

I like all three cars and in terms of performance, they are almost identical. I prefer the Porsche because it is more practical and it is much cheaper and more reliable.

Are we placing price in the mix? If not why not put a Bugatti Veyron in the mix. If so put a z06 corvette in.
