anyone heard of cooking potatoes in a brown bag?

a paper bag like a lunch bag etc..

    I haven't heard of cooking potatoes in a brown paper bag, but I've seen recipes for Apple pie baked in a brown paper bag, and chicken, turkey and beef roasted in in a brown paper bag.

    i aint no expert but i would think you have to take potatoes out of the bag to cook them going to be kinda hard to peel them if there still in the bag

    actually yea in the microwave. I dont recommend it though. i would be afraid it would catch on fire! i dont see why you couldnt attempt it in the oven since i have seen pie, bacon, eggs, chicken and roasts recipes
