Erik Bedard or Rich Hill?

These names have been mentioned as part of a trade. Who of the two has more value?

I think Rich Hill has a very, very bright future, but Bedard (despite his annoying innability to reach 200 innings) is a K machine who manages games well. Any contending team that can afford to skip 5 or 6 of his starts to keep him fresh for the postseason is going to be amply rewarded. If Hill performs well over the course of an entire season, then his youth and substantially lower contract should push him ahead of Bedard for overall value.

Eric Bedard. Rich Hill is a good young pitcher who will get better, but Bedard struck out 221 batters in 182 innings.

Erik Bedard by far. I find Rich Hill overated and unproven and Bedard is a very valuable pitcher.

I'm a Cubs fan, and I really like Rich Hill, but I'd take Bedard over Hill at this point.

Bedard, especially if he gets traded to a contender. Rich Hill is pretty good too, but I don't think either has reached their full potential quite yet.

Bedard, definitely. But since Rich Hill is young, I can see why the Orioles want him. Hill might be worht more just because he is younger.

Bedard has much more value and could bring in alot of prospects for the O's.

To most people, Bedard is of greater value, but I would choose Hill.

Bedard. Hill might have better stats because of playing in the NL but they have no DH so lesser lineups to face.

Bedard has the best value. He is a great pitcher.
