outlook express.
Has everything you want.
Incoming server is the POP3 or IMAP server (your inbox in few words).
outgoing server is the SMTP SERVER (your outbox in few words).
These info for your e-mail gave to you from the e-mail client you use.
Open outlook express click on tools menu, then accounts and click on create new account. Fill-in all the apropriate info.
You can find detailed instructions on how to proper configure outlook express in your ISP web page, or in the e-mail webpage you want to use.
If for example you want to create an AIM mail account (this is an IMAP mail server) means internet based mail account, you can find all the info in http:// www.aim.com
Have a nice day.
P.S. http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
Choose HTTP e-mail, if you want to create a hotmail account, ant type the above in server URL. That way you can receive and send e-mails threw hotmail using outlook express.
May not work for everyone as Microsoft disable this function from non premium hotmail users. But it work for me and I AM NOT a premium user(don't pay for Hotmail services.)
So you can try it.

U can use Eudora, Outlook Express or even u can use opera mail which is avaliable with opera by default. All though ur email service provider must provide POP or IMAP service to all these programs to retrive emails from the server.
Gmail does both for free, but yahoo, hotmail, msn has these service in their paid versions
Search for POP or SMTP configuration for your email service provider in the net
Out going server is usually ( smtp."your email service provide" like for gmail smtp.gmail.com, yahoo smtp.yahoo.com)
imcoming server depends what protocol the service provider is providing ( POP or IMAP)
for POP
pop.gmail.com
pop.yahoo.com
for IMAP
imap.gmail.com
imap.yahoo.com
these configurations will vary according to the service providers sevice

hey,
thats simple, if you have a hotmail account then just go to options>manage your account>Send and receive mail from other e-mail accounts
here you can add as many emails as you want. when you add an email address then an messege will go to that account and demand an authorisation. you just click on the link.
it works, coz i have around three email accounts and all messages go to my main account. i can check and send mail instead of signing in and out between accounts.
hope that helps. and sorry, i dont know what u mean by your other question.

outlook express client can do that for you for most sites but not all. the problem is that for some mail systems that are web based and they don't want you to get your mail from them using another email client. cuz they won't be able to show you nice ads while you are reading your mail
;-)
some web based clients will let you get mail form other sites too, yahoo mail and gmail are two that let you get mail from elsewhere but not the reverse.
I use thunderbird to get all the ones that will let me pop3 or imap from their servers. you find the mail server addresses form the isp that runs it. if you can't find it on their site, send their help desk an email
