Update:

Well right now i only have a 1.6ghz processor and only about 100 bucks i just need a better processor so my games that i have now will run smoother. the motherboard i have now can only go up to 1.8ghz . i chose that mobo cause it uses my ram and graphics card which will prevent me from having to spend what money i don't have i just need simple upgrade

If you are looking to build a dual core system, go with Intel. AMD simply has nothing better to offer on that platform.

If you are adamant about going with AMD, then you should go for an AM2 mobos, not 939.

I personally don't like combos, I like to create mine from scratch. It really depends on what you will be doing. Before you offer 2 board/processors, explain what you will be doing. Is it a basic computer use? A gaming computer? Editing? That will give people a better idea on how to assist you and giving you recommendations.
