    Is this a serious post?

If so, can you read? Check out the paper want ads or go to a job center.

How would anyone on YAHOO ANSWERS know who would be willing to hire you?

2nd shift preferred? You are joking right?

    You might have to move.

You can only take jobs from what is available in the area. You know that.

After 8 months of not being able to find something else, you know by now what is around you.

It may be in your best interst to start packing up and looking in news papers from towns further out.

    Think region, not area now.

If you have wanted to move to a warmer area, further or closer to family now might be the time.

I'm not sure what your asking us to do. CEO's don't brows thru the Yahoo Answers to find employees-- that have not worked in 8 months... Need to go to the factories in the 50 mile radius to get hired. You need the pay check they do not...good luck on the job search. The Army is looking for men...

I great way to get a factory job is hit up labor ready. They can send you to different types of job until you can find one that works best for you. They pay might be a little low but if the employer want you, they do not have top pay a fee to hire you nor do you have to pay a fee also. One thing great is they pay daily. If you hear negatives, don't listen. check it out yourself.

It is great way to try your skill in many types of jobs till you find your niche. Good Luck

Try craigslist.com, they have many jobs; also apply at agencies in your area, I applied at four and called them several times a week until i got a job. You can also go to businesses and ask there, bring a resume. You can also place a job wanted ad in the newspaper and get as many local newspapers as you can, also look online in the classifieds in your area.

I agree with the first response....if you want a job then you cannot be choosy on which shift you get.
