Is it possible Yahoo blocked my account from answering questions?

From what i can make out it may be because you could have picked up a virus and have been quarantined to prevent the spread of this virus......yahoo answers is like a doctors surgery, by hanging around here so much it is easy to pick up infection!

Again as far as i can make out it should only last a couple of days maximum.

Try and run a virus scan on you're computer and see if anything comes up.

I freaking hate that error 999. I get that a lot because i love it here but i don't seem to get it as much as i used to get. It's possibly because i have firewall security and virus protection. For around $10-$30 you can go to the computer shop and get a firewall virus protector. Put it on your computer and make your firewall settings high and it gets rid of that stupid error. It's worth it in the end.

Maybe you just reached your answer limit for the day? Depending on what level you are, determines how many questions and answers you have.
