last week for asking for prayers--it was a question. I blocked the only person who said that they thought it was a violation and had other users assure me that it was not. I read over the part about solicitation which was clearly framed to rule out people who are selling something and appealed and was denied. I pointed out that i had not profit motive. Just FYI I would never have reported anyone for asking a question about Darwinism or athieism, or any other group. I have given best answer to a wiccan on one of my questions and a Muslim, becuase they clearly had the best answer. I support the right of anyone here to ask a respectful question from thier point of view. I am saddened to read what others here have been reported for it seems mean spirited. I thought with the new warnings about reporting too much or frivolously people could get in trouble and it would stop some of this. But apparently not.

2. Question in violation of community guidelines. Which one was not explained to me.
3. No
4. Yes
5. I got a response e-mail saying simply "we understand that you disagree, but you were in violation of community guidelines." They still did not explain what community guideline I violated, even though I asked, they just sent me more links to the community rules. I dropped it at that since I don't care about points and the content was deleted so I wouldn't be able to read the answers that happened between the last time I checked the question and the time the question was deleted, but I was bummed out about it. I wanted to see those answers and I only asked a "is my band any good" question that is pretty common in the R&P section. Maybe it was chatting because I was thanking people individually for responding and expressing my appreciation for the time they spent listening and their comments, but that seems really silly to me. Maybe they interpreted it as I was trying to sell something, but I had nothing to sell.
I've received three violations and I agree with the first two, but I don't understand my most recent one.

I am getting violations every other day. When the reason is stated it tends to be "chatting". I certainly disagree that my opportunity of rebating is chat. I tried several times to challenge that, specially when I am very aware that I am the objective of a group of people with whose political and religious ideas I disagree. The response from Y!A is inevitably that I refer to the terms and conditions which is the cause of my penalization.
I find it very difficult to give honest answers or ask burning questions that may provoke real debate and show a rich wide spectrum of answers (reflecting on us all) as there is always the irrational hand of censorship. Y!A is showing no signs of handling, manning and managing this situation and it is extremely frustrating. The only reason I am not giving up is that this forum has given me the opportunity to meet and chat (in private) with wonderful people that otherwise I'd never have met. There is certainly the possibility for looking for other spaces where I can meet people as fantastic, but I like the ones who keep on fighting no matter what from here.
Hope your question is not "taken away", at least we can find consolation between us, kind of group psychotherapy question, lol.
Kind regards and best wishes.

2. An Avatar game question that I asked. It was the 4th question of this kind that I had asked, and the previous 3 were deleted. I just kept asking them, hoping they wouldn't get deleted.
3. Yeah, sure I guess it was ligit, but what is the point of violations on harmless questions like that anyway? Am I really harming the community that much?
4. No, what's the point. No one ever wins.

"Not a question or an answer"

Denied and not satisfied with outcome

Last night
Not a question or an answer
No
Yes
It's still being reviewed.
My main peeve is that the question was already resolved and closed. Whats up with that? Obviously and it should be obvious to Yahoo that that was an outright bogus violation because someone is stalking or mad because they didn't get best answer.
