    That's about right. If you have it done, make sure that they use only genuine Subaru parts, even the coolant. Using anything else is wasting your time and things will corrupt sooner. You can buy a repair manual and do it yourself with a little courage. It is a great learning experience. Haynes manuals are very straigh forward and model specific. You will need a nice assortment of tools, though. Otherwise, insist on the genuine Subaru parts. You can shop the Internet for the best prices. There are kits for both issues. Trust me!
