My feet go all stinky when I take my stockings off. Is there some way I can get rid of the smell?

Everytime I take my stockings off to change and go to PE class, they stink and the changing room starts to smell. Is it because my feet are like sweaty or...? Can I get rid of the smell? I'm getting tired of running over to the showers to wash my feet everytime i take my stockings off!!!!

You can use any powdered substance that absorbs smell. Baking soda, baby powder, cornstarch can all work. There are sprays for athletes feet you can use, which you should also be concerned about as continually sweaty feet can lead to this.

The reason your feet are getting sweaty is because they are warm. Your stockings cause friction in your shoes which generates heat. Unlike socks, they cannot absorb the sweat, and so it soaks into your shoes and dries on your skin. If you go to your local drugstore, ask them what you can put in your shoes to help with the perspiration. If the problem continues, or worsens, go see your doctor. At the very least he can maybe perscribe something to make the smell/sweat go away.

    Good luck!!

well i wouldnt worry too much about it, because when does a PE class changing room smell nice, lol?

I recommend though buying foot spray deodorant or foot powder deodorant, Odor Eaters makes both and you can find them at your local drug store

another thing you can do, is when you take your socks off, blame the smell on someone or something else, LOL

Depending on where you are you can buy thin insoles that contain activated carbon (charcoal) and remove foot odour completely. They generally last for about two months and are usually about $3 for a pair. When you buy them you cut with scissors to the size that fits your shoe. I use them and they are effective. Ask a big shoe shop if you cant find them.

    Good luck, Jackson.
