On Politics, U.S. Christians, and Palestinians?

Question

Since the state of Israel is a Jewish state, and since in Israel it is illegal to proselytize, why do American Christians support Israel instead of the Christian Palestinians? (yes, most Palestinians are Muslim, but there is a hefty number of Christians too)

And don't say it's because Palestinians are terrorists- there have been just as many cases of Israelies killing Palestinians as there have been of Palestinians killing Israelies

I support Israel because it is the only democracy in the middle east and the only reliable ally we have there.

We do "get it".  I am giving you a US Christian perspective when I give you my opinion.  Of what value would it be for me to try to speculate about others?

It really is very simple.  The Israeli's would live in peace with the Palestinians.  The radical portion of the Palestinians side sworn goal is to see the destruction of the nation of Israel.  If the Palestinians ever want a decent life, investment in the areas controlled by palestine, a decent economy, decent jobs, decent schools--etc--this will never happen until they recognize the right of Israel to exist and quite trying to change a historical fact.  Simple in fact--difficult if not possible to accomplish.

if u look the map of 1945 there was not a country called isreal  . Hitler kicked out jews from germany they all went to palastine . They now made a country and are attacking palastines
