how can you get marks off a guitar?
ok i need help..my husband just bought a gibson guitar...and on the neck where it was on the hanger at the store it has like a stain from it....they put it on the wrong kind of hanger..it has a nitrocelluose(i think thats how you spell it) finish and i guess you can only hang it on certain hangers..does anyone know a safe way to remove it without hurting the finish..thanks for any help..

It has already damaged the finish. Not much you can do at this point. Make him check the guitar first before he buys another one - could ask for a discount at the time of purchase. Sorry its not better news... (huge Gibson fan here)

Relax, it's a guitar--they're way cooler if they're well-worn and broken in. Gibsons are nice and they look great if they show some aging.
