My razr overheats and eats up the battery charge. How do I fix it?
I just need this phone to last a few more months. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

if you take the battery out and check the connections.
if not simply remove your sim card and put it back in ..

Get a new one. If it is a mechanicl defect like the one you described, they should replace it with a phone of equal value at no cost.
