Hate to mention but when your dad would possibly not aid you, I wish that your mother will. I am a core institution cheerleading instruct and cheerleading isn't inexpensive. Of direction core schoolers wouldn't have jobs to pay for camp, uniforms, and so on. and even though you would get a task, you don't have time to paintings and move to after institution practices, conferences, and video games.... and consider assignments. You will want any one to support you pay the charges. Is your cheerleading squad conventional or recreation? A conventional squad is the squad that does the pep rally, cheers at video games from the sidelines, and would possibly do a part time efficiency. A recreation squad is a squad that travels across the country competing. Most of the game squads are co-ed, particularly expert, particularly problematic stunts, killer flips, you get the factor. Its just like the Bring it On Squads. If your institution has a conventional squad, all you need to do is have a few kind of rhythm and get a former cheerleader or one who has already made the squad to educate you. You would move to a UCA camp. They will educate you the fundamentals of cheerleading. I suppose this would be the fine choice. If your squad is a recreation squad, your probabilities of constructing the squad are very slender until you may have had years of gymnastics. Whatever occurs, I desire you the fine of success. Keep making an attempt and paintings rough. Remember Cheerleading is rough paintings, if it was once any simpler, it could be referred to as Football!

Try finding a gym near you they will have beginners classes and hopefully a night that you can go and just try it out before you start paying for it.
Training and getting in shape for cheerleading starts at home and the gym. If you belong to a gym (as in gymnastics) they will be getting your butt into shape. Make sure that you are doing this at home as well. Run and stretch as much as possible. Their are many websites that have step by step guides to show you motions.
Tryouts are hard. Being nervous for me just helped me to be more percise. For you it may make you nervous at first but relax! Dont freak out take your time and do as well as you can. I would say if your program has a week of tryouts, DONT over do it the first day. I made that mistake and it didnt end up very well. I didnt get sick but i was at the brink. Just remember, everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect. You can do anything just as well as any of those girls out there.
PS!!! Being able to tumble really helps you out! If not just do a cart-wheel or a floor roll. Thats what i did!
GOOD LUCK!

1.Go to your local place that has gymnastics classes
2. Sometimes at local gymnastics classes they have cheerleading camps and you could attend those.
3. For tryouts be perky but dont over do it. If your nervous drink a cold glass of water before its your turn
Good Luck hope you make the cut.
