Did Yahoo!Answers change when its week ends?

I used to believe that all the point tallying and leaderboard stuff occurred at midnight Sunday. Then someone said that it was midnight Sunday at Sunnyvale CA time.

The last few weeks I happened to answer questions late at night and I noticed that my Yahoo weekly point total was really the one from about 10PM EST.

Does Yahoo now knock it off early so anyone who is using Yahoo late at night is wasting their effort for that week?

Update:

Yahzmin's answer confirms that they do close early (so at least I know it was not my imagination). Does anyone know an exact time that they close the Yahoo-week on Sunday night?

While the actual update to the SITE supposedly does not POST until midnight PST, it may be that to allow time to correlate all the numbers, they actually stop the TALLY at an earlier time. I've also noticed that my # seemed to be lower than anticipated when posted. That would explain it. I know that if you have reached your limit on answers or questions, it is the midnight PST time when you can start asking/answering again.

I think it depends on your location whether in east of the world or west. then the time will show its favorableness.

the best thing to do is to fix the weekly time base on the GMT.
