You have a problem - you only can have two convictions in 24 months with the graduated license system.

Try to get traffic school with supervision when you go to court - you should have a mandatory appearance - and you must bring a parent.

In Illinois, the new graduated drivers license rules took effect Jan 1, '08. Two tickets in a year or one ticket, one accident in a year will suspend your license for 3 months. However, these have to be convictions for moving violations (speed, disobey stop sign, seat belts). You can go to court and ask for court supervision and if you don't get any tickets in the supervised time, your current ticket 'never happened'.

No turn signal is a moving violation. Also, new in '08, you cannot have more than one other passenger in your vehicle. Family members are excluded. And yes the Police have the right to ID everyone in your vehicle to prove it.

big thing for kids these days is court supervision and then traffic school/classes.As long as u are good in your supervision the ticket goes away.
