    No only the asker does

No, you don't. If the asker deletes it while it's open everyone who answered will get to keep their two points. Even if Yahoo deletes it after it's been resolved you will still get to keep the points. The only way you lose points for your answer is if your answer itself gets reported and removed.

No. As far as I know, if the Asker deletes his/her question, you do not lose any points.

Note: Only YOU and Yahoo can delete your answer, not the person who asked the question. If the asker deleted his or her own question you go back to square one, no gain or no loss.

The asker cannot remove your answer.

    Yahoo do.

You will loose 12 points, 2 for the answer and a 10 point penalty.

You will get a violation notice by email.

I hope not, I have answered a lot of questions that have been deleted.

    That's a very good question.

Fortunately, you don't lose anything, just the chance for your answer to be picked as best.

    Nope!
