If Marilyn Monroe had lived, do you think that she would still be appealing?

Some people (cruel ones) believe that the best thing that happened to Monroe's career was dying young because it immortalized her. If she had lived, would she still be as popular? Do you think her career would have burned out, leaving her washed up as an actress?

i dont know...i think some of what immortalized her was the fact that there was so much mystery surrounding her death and her life with the kennedy brothers...she was a gorgeous woman...and is beautiful in her photographs ....but i personally dont like her movies...

I think she would have been popular, but I know that an untimely death does seem to immortalize you. Maybe she would be a respected icon if she were alive. Like Elizabeth Taylor?
