I need advice what to do about an annoying sister!?

Ignore her, or act like you want her there. Point out how cute she looks sitting on the stairs looking up to you, give her some of your old things just to be a good big sister. It may take some time but eventually she will get bored because she is not getting the reaction out of you. Another point is your mom will complement you on how nice you are treating your sister and that will take away attention from your sis that she is used to getting, your mom is happy because it appears you are being more mateur and she doesn't have to deal with the bull s***. our sister will then look someplace else for the attention.....leaving you alone....keeping you out of trouble......and if you continue to be a good big sister and your little sister continues to try to be a pain your mom will see this....Yes, it does work I am a big sister also and I have done this! I am also a mom now and have dealt with the same king=d of stuff with my boys! It works just as well with them!

As an older sister myself, I feel your pain. Your sister is probably sitting on your stairs to be close to you. Like it or not she probably admires you and doesn't know how to go about expressing it. If you want to help the situation you should set aside some time each day to hang out with her. Even if it's just 30 minutes it will show her that you care and she won't have to work so hard to get your attention.

i can see your side, however, only because i used to be 17 myself once. i was also 12 and had a sister who was 15, and i wanted so much to be as smart, pretty and popular as her. maybe you should appreciate that she must really think highly of you, she worships you even though you are angry with her. you should feel proud that she looks up to you. someday you will miss her doing this.

yeaa. doesn;t sound like she;ll stop until maybe shes old enough to realize that youu need your own privacy.put a spider or pics of something scary on the stairs, make her not want to be on the stairs.

Would it kill you to show her some much needed attention?

She probably looks up to you and you shun her. That's just cruel. Involve her in your life. She's sitting there because she needs you, not because she's trying to irritate you. Put yourself in her shoes. Hurts don't it?

Little ones can be a pain! It's just the age.. try to seriously talk to her about your feelings and if it doesn't work give her a little pay back ;)
