War is useless.
If rulers and leaders were at all intelligent and mature, they would be able to solve their differences without military force.

Sometimes War becomes inevitable. Had there never been a 9/11 , the Taliban would most likely rule in Afghanistan, Saddam would still be killing his people, and the average American citizen would still have never heard of Osama.
Like Ben Franklin said "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety".

I do myself, war is humanity's niche. Many of our technological advancements were made through war, like the 'Star Wars', the space age ones, not the movies.
Killing is not necessarily murder, some people deserve to die, and must be killed for the greater good of the living, e.g. Nazis in World War II.

I do- It would be great not to have wars but that would entail not having evil people in the world and that just isnt going to happen. As long as there are evil people, the rest of us need to be willing to fight back- they do not respond to pleas or camp fire songs, would that have stopped Hitler?
Bad people need to be stopped at all costs.

Who believes in killing others? Have you heard the news today? It's the muslim Jihadists. Look what they're doing in Darfur if you need additional examples.

If they have sworn to kill all of us for what we believe in. Freedom, liberty, free speech, women's rights etc. Then I believe we have an obligation to kill those who have sworn to kill us first for our beliefs. They, radical muslim extremists, have no place in this world and must end up smashed under Uncle Sam's shoe where they belong...

well, if we never fought wars, we would be living under the third riech..you know,..HITLER!!!! and that's just had we not fought that particular war...if we never fought the british, the country would still be a british colony...if we had never fought the civil war, we would have never abolished slavery...so, yeah, sometimes war is necessary..
