People who understand computers, please help!!!!?

I have this huge problem. Yesterday, I was speaking on skype with my camera and pressed a button, which photoes the other person several times, so then my pc got stuck and it doesnt respond anymore. I can't do anything on it. I switch it off, wait sometime and when I'm back it again shows the photo of my friend and counts from 1-99999999........ photos. How can I switch of the program? I tried to switch it off by pressing the X window but it doesn't do a thing. Neather does the right mouse button and then close. I tried to wait all night with my pc on, to see if it'll stop, but then, it starts counting photos from 1 again. It's a story without an end!!!! Now I'm writing from another pc, so that's how I post this question. Please, help!!! What's wrong with it? Are the details clear what I just said?

Ok sweet heart, listen to me it seems that this button that u have clicked made ur windows hang, but liek that it should respond once u restart the computer again, so it seems that this button made something hang on the windows, some of the system files.

so there is more than one thing u have to do to check to solve the problem:

1- u have to login to the Safe Mode, if u can do that u can delete the program which is skype from

(Control Panel ----> Add or Remove Programs)

Then restart the PC and I think its Gonna work

if U dont know how to login to the safe mode or if the problem remain the same, there will be another solution dont worry

but I cant write all of it here it would be too long and u have to go step by step

so u can IM me or u can send me an E-mail and I'll be with u step by step till u fix it

    best wishes and Gd Luck

Your comment that selecting "right click then close" is not effective suggests that the computer is responding but the program isn't. If this is the case, press ctrl+alt+del once. When the Task Manager window appears, select the applications tab. This should show the unresponsive program. Highlight it and click the End Process button at the bottom.

    Hope this works for you

    Is your operating system Windows?

Try opening the Windows Task manager and terminate the program. To do this, follow the steps:

    1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del. (This opens WIndows Task Manager)

    2. On the Appliactions Tab, choose the program then terminate it by right clicking it and choosing End Process.

If this happens again, do the same and install a program which can edit your startup list. You can download CCleaner from download.com

    Good luck!

Go command line warrior on it.

At boot up press and hold whatever magic key will bring up what is called a Terminal or /command prompt.

    To stop it: Use taskkill.exe.

taskkill or something close is the command,,,

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb49107...

Pick or state which OS, which version, which SPs that are installed,,and the name of the program that is running,,or being pesky.

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb49107...

    That is the BIG list,,,

This is sysrep,,is why backups are so important,,even with a goofy System Restore doohicky...

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb45708...

    At the command prompt:

    C:

    something like...

    http://www.computerhope.com/shutdown.htm

Is like shutdown,,but is a running task,,so it takes a -f Forces running applications to close without warning

Is kinda geeky, that is why backups are made when the system is working.

One of your key board keys might be stucked, Press all keys to confirm. If that does not work, go to system recovery and recover to the date before the incidence
