How much better will my gas mileage be by going to dual exhuast?
I have a 2000 Chevy 4x4 that gets 16 miles per gallon. It has a single exhuast system. By changing it over to dual exhaust, how many more miles per gallon can I expect. Will I get another 2-3 miles per gallon raising it to 17-19 miiles per gallon?

won't increase it enough to warrant the price of the dual exhaust.

Adding dual exhaust and a free flowing intake sytem could actually INCREASE fuel consumption. (Lower MPG) Allowing more air to flow through your engine will allow it to produce more power, and more power means more fuel consumed.

no your mi, wont change ,, do you think you are smarter than the factory if you want better mileage get a small car to drive during the week and just use your truck on weekend

that seems reasonable. mods like that are also helped if you free up restrictions on the intake side as well.
