Is 50 minute layover enough time for connection?
I am flying from Helsinki to Chicago with a 50 minute connection in Stockholm, is that enough time? Is the airport small?

I would be nervous. If you miss the connection there won't be another flight to Chicago for a long time! I've also found that a connection under 90 minutes makes it far less likely that baggage will transfer, even if you make it.
The early morning flights are usually the most reliable out of any airport. (Delays accumulate throughout the day and a late incoming flight the night before doesn't delay a morning flight.) If you are leaving Helsinki before breakfast and not checking bags you'll probably be OK. If it is later in the day or you have checked baggage this isn't the flight for you.
Arlanda (Stockholm) Airport is not very large. It's a much better place to try a tight connection that Heathrow or Frankfurt.

hi, If the two flights are with the comparable airline, and you're allowed to e book them (the airline subject concerns the cost ticket), then they are regularly responsible in case you permit out your flight, and could carry the flight decrease back for it sluggish till you're making your connection. in case you have a good connection, from my own adventure, there could be floor group representing your airline waiting for you upon disembarkation (calling your holiday spot or relatives call). If that's the situation, persist with them and do what they are asserting as there could be a quickly-music course to your gate. besides the shown fact that, in the journey that your first flight is not on time for terribly it sluggish, then your 2nd flight might go away with out you. if so, Delta could furnish you with a hotel room and/or provision for nutrients and beverages (vouchers) till the subsequent obtainable flight. i've got under no circumstances travelled on Delta, and neither have I had the style of project, yet you could desire to consistently attempt and supply your self some hours of layover time, if achievable, extremely in the journey that your onward connection is a international flight, and the flight frequency on that direction is small. wish you're making your flights and sturdy success!

It depends on who you are connecting with. I once made a connection in a airport bathroom in less than 15 minutes.

that's pretty tight, especially for an international flight, I'd suggest at least 2-3 hours just in case something happens so you don't have any headaches with your connection, change it if you can. If it was domestic I'd say it would be fine

i work with an airline and i think that should be enough time given ya inbound flgiht is on time. generally i know that u are suppose to be on board at least 15mins be4 ya depature time. so i guess it depends on if ya flight comes on time and also how far ya terminals are away from each other...
u can call ya airline customer service n get all that info.

Never fly with that short of a layover. Especially if you have never been there before.

if you are staying with the same airline it should be fine. if you have to change terminals then it would be a little tight

if you have to go through custums its probably not enough time, airlines say you need like an hour i think
