I totally dig Neil, such a great entertainer. I've never had the chance to see him but from the concert footage I've seen he really knows how to hold an audience. My wife and I always sing September Morn to each other as our little joke, really putting an emphasis on the September Morn part.

Other favorites are Love On The Rocks, Brother Love's Travelling Salvation Show, I Am I Said and Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon.

Edit: I need to pick up his latest album. After hearing Rick Rubin's production work on Johnny Cash, I'm assuming his work with Neil is pretty amazing.

I get a lot of weird looks from people when they browse through my music collection because I often have artists you wouldn't find together right next to each other. I've always like Neil Diamond and have quite a few of his cds (and a few on vinyl too). I've never had the opportunity to see him live though.

My favorites from him are Forever in Blue Jeans, Song Sung Blue, America, Sweet Caroline.

Neil Diamond reminds me of my father. When I was a kid my family took a trip to Kentucky. We listened to his greatest hits Cd all the way. I LOVE Sweet Caroline!

Ooooh! I have been a Neil Diamond fan since 1969! I loved him from the first song I ever heard. DH and I saw one of his concerts lonnng ago at the Cow Palace in San Francisco.

Although I have many, many favourites, the one that tops them all is "I'm Alive", which hit my heart after surviving four life-threatening surgeries. It is not one of his best known hits, so I will put the lyrics below. I think you will see what I mean.
