What company makes Texarkana acoustic guitars?
My mother bought this guitar for me in 1993 as a birthday gift. She purchased it used from a local Pawn Shop that is now out of business. I am curious as to how old the guitar is and if it has any value at all.
Inside the guitar there is a label that says Texarkana Model No# 500. Made in Thailand.
Any help appreciated. Thank you.

I just got one from a Goodwill auction, i think from nashville or Memphis. The guitar is a decent little classical (nylon string) guitar. I ONLY bought it on a lark because of the "Texarkana" label inside - if it was steel string Id have made a slide guitar out of it and tuned it to an open tuning. Frankly, its not too bad for a nylon string cheap guitar.

If you are looking for a good guitar on a budget, then look no further than the Simon and Patrick range. These guitars have an amazing sound and are handmade in Canada. For the modest price of about £350- £400 you will get a fab guitar.
