What happened to one of the original statler Bros Who left a few years befoe the y retired?

did he leave on good terms? I liked his solo work

    looks like he left on good terms..he was in bad health.

    I thought that Lew DeWitt left the group because of his health. I think he died of kidney failure sometime in the 90's.
