Super Tuesday....HBO....United 93?

I find it rather interesting that HBO has been running this film quite a bit, during the Primary season....are they perhaps not as liberal as I have assumed in the past? Are they trying to remind people of how it felt that fateful day? Have so many forgotten?

I would like to encourage people, right before they vote to take a moment of silence and remember exactly how you felt when you saw America brought to its knees. Think about that before you cast your vote...think about how each of those candidates would have responded.....remember all our heroes in uniform that fight for our security and our freedom.......remember that not too long ago a woman braver than three of these candidates died for her country trying to secure that which we will take for granted tomorrow. Remember how it felt in your gut, then cast your vote and walk out of there proud that you have exercised your right to participate in a sometimes rude but always democratic election!

Update:

There were three questions Gecko...you agreed! Thanks Joe, great answer....I really did find it odd that they are airing that, but then....my son and I were noticably pissed off at liberals when we left the theatre when we went to see it.....

Update 2:

I agree Think 1st.......but I worry that a lot of people have forgotten.....I just might have to stir up a little crap at work and ask a few people if they remember....nothing like getting people fired up and patriotic in time to vote...

Not sure about the HBO liberalism.

I never need a reminder, I remember every day. I watched the smoke across the water. I saw the people come home. I knew two who did not.

bin Laden is still free! This is not irrelevant or unimportant. He should have been captured by now. The reasons for 9/11 happening are still there if he is.

    EDIT:

These memories do not make me patriotic, only angry.

Every time I drove on the turnpike, or went to Hoboken to catch the PATH train. There was a hole in the skyline. It was burning for days.

I would not have lifted the no fly to let the bin Laden family leave. I do not believe in torture, but they would still be here.

    Waiting for ....?

The Clintons were in the White House from 1993 to 2001

4.June 1996 - April 1997 Jamal al-Fadl, an al-Qaeda operative tells the US everything he knows about al-Qaeda. US intelligence had amassed thick files on bin Laden and his associates and contacts. However, they had had no idea how the many pieces fit together. But an official says. “After al-Fadl, everything fell into place.”

    5. August 7, 1998, hundreds of people were killed in explosions at the U.S. embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya.

If Clinton hadn't been so busy stealing and humping interns he might have had some time to be commander in chiel and protect America.

Ahhh yes, sadly it took a good friend of mine to remind me what it means to have the right to cast a vote. Now when I vote, I read and ask questions, when I don't understand what something means on the ballot. I find out, I don't just read the cons but the whole thing and have begun to cast my votes with conviction. Didn't watch the HBO thing but my friend told me about it. Thank you Big A.
