I'm curious. Why isn't the glass and debris cleaned up after accidents?

This has been a burning question in my mind for a while. It really sucks to drive over glass and plastic light fixture fragments from an accident. A tire could blow and cause yet another accident. Sometimes debris flies up into the windshield of the car behind you or even your own and cause yet another accident. The purpose of the police/fire departments is to serve and protect right? Wouldn't it serve and protect us if cleanup after an accident was done?

It is ultimately up to the owner of the wrecked car to clean up.But since most of us do not have a broom and dustpan in our vehicle it is the responsibility of the wrecker driver to do so.The police also have a responsibility to ensure that the travel way is safe to drive on.

you may wash the textile with a dab of shampoo or gentle detergent. you need to even use dish cleansing soap! i've got finished the two and as long by way of fact the textile dries certainly, and it does not take long, it extremely is going to be as stable as new. I particularly have particularly decrease up various the microfiber airborne dirt and dirt cloths in ordinary terms for this use. They artwork effective too.

Because everyone is running around saying and thinking " ITS NOT MY JOB" to clean up all the crap so they leave it for the next guy and the next guy thinks the same way and so on and so on and so on! I pulled into Albertsons the other day and there was a huge area of broken glass- I told them inside about it and TADA the next day it was STILL there sooooooo Im guessing noone wants to do it so they r hoping it bio degrades!

It's actually the job of the tow truck company that picked up the vehicles. They carry big brooms and bags to put them in. They aren't usually very good at it though

Source(s): I've never seen a police man carrying a broom

yeah, it annoys me too. prolly the cops think it is beneath them, and really they dont have the time, they have to get back out there and give tickets to innocent people and harrass people for no reason.
