Within the past couple weeks I answered a similar question on here, said I thought V-Dub would be back in the .290-.310 avg 28-36 HR 105-120 RBI range for the '08 season.

Other possibilities who I'd expect to see an improvement from : Richie Sexson, Sean Casey, Shawn Green, Trot Nixon, Jose Vidro, Lyle Overbay

for sure he's showing that he's between the worst. yet Ricciardi wasn't a knucklehead for giving it to him. His first 5 finished season (02-05) He averaged - .264/27HR/ninety seven in those 5 years. He change into also a three time Gold Glove award winner, and hit .three hundred 2 cases. Being a incredibly accurate run producer, and the perfect the Jays considered(especiall considering the fact that Wells had an wonderful contract 12 months) their change into little question he should be searching for the vast money. It purely injuries have saved him from doing what he can do. If he is going back to old style for the perfect 4 years, it purely would properly be all properly worth it.

According to his inconsistency, one year is good and the next is not so good, I'd say yes. He was an All-Star in 2006, and hopefully Scott Rolen and Frank Thomas will provide insurance for him.

Hopefully, coach Gibbons won't put him in the lead off spot, because he is not that kind of hitter.

    .291 AVG, 28 HR's, 93 RBI's.

He has had an up and down career with three seasons over .300 and five seasons under .275. He is one of those players that comes down with nagging injuries that seems to drive down his numbers. He is only 30 years old and if he can stay healthy he is certainly capable of putting up some big numbers.

Wells has shown over his career to be pretty streaky. 2006 was really his only unstreaky season. I don't see him putting up numbers as great as 2006 but i definitely expect him to improve on his overall numbers on last season.

Since he had shoulder surgery, I predict 07 type stats until the all star break, maybe before. then a 06 second half of the season.

He will. he just signed a huge contract, and that weighed heavily on him last year. Look for the 2006 year this year.

if you are a blue jays fan you better hope th 06 wells shows up. i don't think he will though. he's never really been anything special always fading in and out of slumps. his fielding is very good but no one will pay any attention to that.

i think he will do better than last year, but will he have a season like 06? no. but a good season none-the-less for a backup on fantasy baseball.

I say yes because he seemed slowed by injuries last year.
