Is 3-13 shooting and 6 points a "Kobesque" performance?
Kobe seems to have horrible games like these all the time, as he did tonight. He also contributed 7 turnovers.
The Lakers were carried by Pau Gasol's 10-15 shooting, 24 point, 12 rebound performance to victory.
You are incorrect. The fact is that half of his games feature poor shooting and lots of poor decisions. Kobe is way too inconsistent to be an all-time great player.
He might be the greatest shotjacker, that's about it.

Michael Jordan has the record for the most consecutive games scoring in double figures (866 Games). For Kobe to break that he'll have to play another career. So it's fair to say that he blew his chance at that record.

Yeah Kobe's kinda "streaky".
Kobe can have 3 straight games shooting the ball efficiently and not turn it over. Then the next 3 games he'll shoot 6-23, 8-21, 13-34 and average 8 turnovers per game.
You never really know what you're going to get from him night in and night out. Will you get Kobe scoring an efficient 40+ or will you get Kobe shooting you out of a game and turning the ball over a ton?
This is why Kobe needs very efficient teammates (Gasol 10-15FG, 24 points, 12 boards) to offset his horrible shooting performances.

Kobe did not need to score alot tonight. The only thing he was trying to do was get Pau used to the offense. And since they only played the Nets, it was the perfect opportunity. Kobe can drop at least 30 every night (like he did last year) but that is not necessary with this team. The Lakers weren't carried by Gasol, they all wanted to get Gasol used to the triangle offense. So when we go back up against the better teams, he will know exactly what is going on at all times.

What u mean he seems to have games like these all the time ? no Pau didn't carry Lakers alone Fisher did good So what Pau and Fisher carried lakers tonight...Kobe carried Lakers for last few years give the guy break

A kobe type game is 13-33 shooting. The fact that he only shot 13 times is a wonder.

Kobe also had 8 assists, so I have to question why he still took that many shots. The guy you're passing to is making shots but you aren't, so DON'T STOP PASSING!
