Has anyone used the Medicus clubs?
And if so, do they help or are you still better off getting better on the practice tee with your clubs? I am really trying to get better at golf and would appreciate any help you have.

I have, and as a former golf store salesman, the medicus is garbage. As a training tool it sucks because to swing the way it trains you to is to come 'over the top" as they say. Those hinges don't work at all. If you're anything like me your swing is unique to you in some ways and you just have to learn the best and most amount of basic fundamentals. The weighted clubs are much better at making the proper swing. They WILL pain your forearms if you swing incorrectly.

The Medicus is a fantastic product, the people that knock it here must have either not used it enough or became frustrated with it when they weren't able to break their habits. It is a hinged club desidned to "break" when either your take-away, backswing or downswing is not correct. The club keeps you on plane and I have used it for over 2 years and it works wonderfully but like anything, it takes practice and patience. Those looking for a quick fix to their game deserve all the misery they get. Buy it, use it, it works but remember depending on how long you have golfed incorrectly it will take time for your muscle memory to kick in. I also highly recommend the "Inside Approach" training aid as well but I'm sure people that don't know how to use that will say it sucks too! Good luck.

I dont think the medicus is all that great. As long you take the club back rediculously slow, you can hit it. I tried getting off plane, laid off, etc, and the only thing that broke the club was a fast takeaway. If you're trying to get better, take a few lessons and practice hard. 100 bucks on a few lessons will take you further than new equipment.

The only medicus that would work is the new weighted driver, but then you can just put a swing weight on the end of your driver and get the same results.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.
You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net/

The Medicus was basically designed for an "ideal" swing path. This club will not develop you your swing (this will take time), it will make sure that you don't steer off path too much.
