Is it remotely possible that Tiger Woods could win every tournament he plays in this year?

I think the way he finished last year and the two completely different ways he won the Buick and in Dubai this year it's not out of the realm of possibility that he could win every tournament he enters this year or at the very least a large majority of them. Does anybody else see the possibility?

Update:

i think last year he played in about 25 tournaments and won 33 percent of them. which by my calculation is pretty good. yeah 33 percent is a long way 100 percent. but if you can play that poorly in dubai and still win that says something. more than likely that wont be the norm. i think if he plays like he did in the buick week after week who can challenge him? plus there are going to be tournaments where you just need luck to get by.

Of course it is a possibility, but it's pretty slim, considering the level of competition on the PGA tour. A better possibility is Tiger winning the Grand Slam.

By the way, the odds on Tiger winning the Grand Slam is a mere 8-1. Incredible.

Yes, I see the possibility of it. I even see it being the most likely thing happening. These guys that have opposed him over the years have been trying for a long time, and have no answers for Tiger Woods. He is truly one of the greatest ever seen, and he has the potential to win every tournament this year. He is just so accurate that even the smallest mistake seems like a big mistake to him. It's golf's pursuit of perfection basically. The New England Patriots tried it in football, but that's the difference. That was an entire team. This is just ONE man. And he may just very well be the greatest man out there doing his profession.

Anything is possible, but in reality, I think that he will win 2 majors (The Masters and the Open), and 6 of the regular tour events.

I wish the old Tiger would come back when the USA faces the Britts in the cup! Tiger used to be an unstoppable match-play player, but it seems that he doesn't have the desire that he once had when it comes to match-play.

My opinion and just like @holes, everyone has one!

The chance of that is extremely low. Tiger is the greatest player by far but he still only wins 26 percent of the events he enters. There are hundreds of guys good enough to win each and every week.

Tiger Woods is denfinently the best golfer, but to win every single tournament he plays in is going to be very hard. I htink that he has a chance but not a very large one.

Though he is clearly the best,Golf is the one sport which throws up big suprises in the Major tournaments, with relatively unknown people just having a brilliant couple of days and winning. I do not think he can do it but I would like it as he seems a nice guy.

If the only other golfers entered in the tournament are Rory Sabbatini , Ian Poulter and V J Singh then its a slam dunk. Otherwise no way.

7-10 wins is not out of the question with 2 majors. The US Open is his to lose. He lapped the field at Torrey Pines and it will only play tougher for the open.

With the way he played Friday and Saturday in Dubai I'm gonna say no perfect season and no Grand Slam.

I would have to say no. He is definitely the best golfer in the world. But even the best have bad days. Golf is one of those sports where you can kill it one day, and really stink the next. Not that Tiger would ever stink, but he could have a few off days for sure.
