What are some foods that i should stop eating....?

HEY i was wondering what are some foods i should stop eating and foods i should start eating in order to lose a couple pounds in a short time.....

    Okay, here it goes. This will be a pretty long list. And remember eating right should NOT be a diet; it's a lifestyle change.

    What NOT to Eat:

    Potato Chips, Fritos, Tortilla Chips or any snack chips with high fat content. Which is basically ALL chips.

    NO FAST FOOD end of story, period.

    White Bread or any products made from white flour.

    Hot Dogs

    Hamburgers

    Meat Loaf

    French Fries

    Just about anything else Fried

    Butter

    Milk (except FAT FREE)

    Mayonnaise (use mustard instead)

    Chinese Takeout (it's loaded with fat and calories)

    Hot Wings (fat and skin are BAD)

    Sour Cream or Dip

    Ok, the above is just a sampling, but you get the idea. Foods high in fat or that contained white flour should be eliminated.

    Now for what you should eat.

    Skinless Chicken, Lean Beef or Pork in small portions and grilled or broiled in a SMALL portion (no more than 3-5 ounces pre-cooked weight).

    Broiled Fish (I like Orange Roughy the best). You can also have somewhat of a large portion than with meat.

    Just about all veggies without alot of butter of added fat. Use a low fat margarine like Smart Balance. I use some low fat chicken broth or boullion for flavoring some vegetables and I am never without garlic or onions.

    1/4 to 1/2 of a baked potato with no Sour Cream and a limited amount of something like Smart Balance.

    Low Fat or No Fat Yogurt or Cottage Cheese.

    Whole wheat bread

    Whole grain cereal in the recommend amount. Find a cereal with high fiber content (at least 12 %) per serving.

    Low fat lunchmeat like Turkey Bologna or Turkey Ham.

    Use Mustard instead of Mayonnaise.

    Boiled Eggs

    V-8 Juice and other juices

    Fruit of almost anykind

    Remember what you eat and portion control are so very important, but it takes will power. I am 5"9' and weighed 255 pounds. I am now at 181, but my goal is 168 pounds. I should see this withing 6-8 weeks.

    Dont stop anything, but make it a point to eat fruits veggies, and proteins

    stop fried foods, chocolate, sodas

    start grilled foods, fruits and veg. and water
