When will the Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack become free for download?

It won't. Only so far is the spring Map Pack, formaly the Mythic Map Pack. They said the Mythic might not be free but who knows? ( 50% on both ) By the way it might but theres a low chance for the Heroic to be free.

probably just like the other map packs for H2. it took a long time for the old packs back in the day to finally go free. i would say around late spring-ish or the very beginning of summer. some things are going around that the old maps from all the previous games like lockout or sidewinder are all being remade for H3.
