how many in this section can either read or write arabic?

I can write only a few words and my name. I'm taking classes at the masjid.

I can read and write it as well, but I don't know what they mean. Lolll. It's weird, right? I know like a few words, but I don't understand the majority of them.

الحمد لله الذى هدانا لهذا و ما كنا لنتهتدى لولا ان هدانا الله

Alhamdulillah illazee hathaana 'l-haa-zaaa va maa ka-naa 'l-na-tha-ha-tha-thee lauw Laa An Ha-thaa-Naa Allah.

I tried to say that in English. Lol.

What does it mean? O_o

Alhamdulillah I can read and write. Only one of my Parents is an Arab though and he speaks to me in English. My Arabic is a bit broken when talking though I make lots of mistakes so it's not perfect but Inshallah with time it will be.

I can read and write Arabic.

It is obligation for every Muslim to learn how to read and write Arabic in order to learn Quran and the countless books of Islamic religion.

Alhamdulillah, I can read and write Arabic.

Praise God, for He has guided us to this (Islam). And we would not have achieved hidayah *) if it was not for Allah's guidance.

I can read and write arabic, but i just do not understand every word in arabic.

I can read and right Arabic, but can understand only a little.

i can read pretty well, even though i wanst born in an arab country, but i was born in a muslim country, where they only teach to to read arabic, it so stupid, now i'm really tryin to learn the whole thing over so i can understand it
