When the ball is measured, the clock stops (I remember Green Bay sending a game to overtime because the clock was stopped for ball measure and they got their field goal team out with 5 seconds left in the game and they had no timeouts)

The clock will run when the ball is reset. Giants got another play off when the ball was reset. That's it.. No controversial.
